In a world where anything is possible, the story of a girl who graduated high school and developed magical powers is a tale of resilience, love, and self-discovery. Raised by two dads (NHS and JC), Jessica Mira Jiang grew up in a loving and supportive environment that embraced her for who she truly was. Of course, that environment was full of happy chaos with farm animals, three venerable uncles who adored her, and other extended family members from mainland China. Mira is the youngest of four cousins,one of which had been adopted by her uncles who resided in China. At age 13, her best friend came to live with her family after being thrown out of her house for being gay, further strengthening the bond between them.

After graduating from high school, Mira’s life took a fantastical turn when she was unexpectedly thrown back in time to a world where she learned of her golden core and amazing ability to control magical weapons. As she navigated this new reality, she discovered the true extent of her powers and the responsibility that came with them.

Throughout her journey, she encountered influential individuals who shaped her understanding of her abilities and the impact she could have on the world. From wise mentors to formidable adversaries, each person she met challenged her to grow and evolve as she honed her skills in wielding magical weapons.

One key figure in her life was a close friend whom she had interacted with in the past, Lan Jingyi, the boy her uncles adopted. Upon returning to her own time, she realized that her feelings for this friend had deepened, leading to a profound realization about herself and her desires. Embracing her newfound powers and love, she made the decision to pursue a college education in art with the goal of creating 3D clay murals that would showcase her unique talents and passions. As an aside, to keep up her cultivation skills with weaponry, she would create pieces of jewelry infused with powers to protect the owner of the piece with the first piece going to her adoptive sister, Trin.

As she embarked on this new chapter, Miral faced various perspectives about her magical abilities and her unconventional family structure. Some saw her powers as a gift, a source of empowerment that could be used for good, while others viewed them with suspicion and fear, wary of the unknown and the potential dangers they could bring.

Despite the challenges and uncertainties she encountered, Mira remained steadfast in her pursuit of self-expression and creativity. She found solace in her artwork, using it as a means of channeling her emotions and experiences into something tangible and meaningful. Each clay mural she created told a story, a reflection of her inner world and the struggles she had overcome.
